We are raising funds for our dear friend, Tammy Scarlett, who had 5 trees (from a neighbor's property) come down on her house and outbuildings. On July 6th, she was lying in bed, when a large tree came crashing through the roof of her bedroom. That tree brought 4 others with it, creating a tangle of branches that damaged one vehicle and an outdoor wood shop, as well as the roof of the main home.

Volunteers from a local veterans group came out and were able to clear out most of the branches from the smaller trees that were obstructing the driveway and entrances to the outbuildings. However, the large tree will have to be professionally removed by a company with a crane and boom. Removing this tree is paramount, as the hole in the roof cannot even be covered with a tarp until the tree is gone. The funds raised here will go towards the emergency tree removal. All extra funds will be reserved for the ensuing repairs.

This home was the childhood home of Tammy's mother, and as such is a part of Hillsborough's history. Please donate anything you can to help Tammy Scarlett, who has given so freely to so many of us.
