My name is Susie Shortt. I’m a Music Teacher and Violinist. Due to the weakened economy, I am having a horrible time financially which led to my 2018 Ford Escape being repossessed on 05-27-25. I lost $1,000 in income as students quit for the summer without giving me notice, therefore making me behind in my car payments. I’m behind in car payments for April/May. In order to get the car back, I have to pay $1,560 plus the repossession fee of $500, totaling $2,060.00, or pay the total car off, which is $22,000.00. I’m also dealing with my mom having AML (Acute Myeloid Leukemia) and undiagnosed bipolar disorder. It’s a lot to deal with.

I was also a rideshare driver, but due to the weakened economy, I’m only making $25 minimum a day to rideshare, and it was wearing on my vehicle.

My entire business relies on transportation, traveling to lesson studios to teach and performing for events. My entire business is in jeopardy now as I have no transportation.

I am single and don’t have family to help me. I’m praying to God for answers and praying for help. If you can help me with my situation, I’d be forever grateful.
