A Shelbyville, KY “church” recently encouraged its members to steal books with LGBTQIA+ characters/content from our community library. They’ve already cost the library hundreds of dollars in stolen books. But more importantly, they think stealing these books will somehow create change.

Well - it will - just not in the way they anticipated. We’re collecting $ to re-buy multiple copies of the books. Hate has NO place here - and the community and our friends need to show them that.
