My name is Simone, and this is a fundraiser for my dear friend Aimee and her son Emmett. After the Eaton fire burned into their Altadena neighborhood, they were suddenly evacuated from their home and have been displaced ever since.

Emergency responders moved Aimee's mother into the hospital. After the evacuation orders, their home was broken into and further damaged, and their indoor cats sadly escaped during the chaos of it all. (One has been found; the other is still missing.) Their landlord says their home is now uninhabitable due to smoke damage, their belongings have been destroyed, and they are scrambling to figure out where to go next during the long recovery period ahead.

Aimee and Emmett's lives have been severely disrupted by this sudden tragedy, and they are trying to regain a sense of normalcy and stability. Please give what you can to sustain them during this difficult recovery period. Thank you!
