On October 28, 2025, Hurricane Melissa, a Category 5 storm, tore through Jamaica, leaving devastation across the island. Among those affected are our mother-in-law and our 6-year-old child, whose home in Saint Elizabeth was destroyed when the roof was torn off during the storm.
In just a few moments, everything inside was drenched and damaged — clothes, furniture, school supplies, and personal items. They are now trying to stay safe under temporary coverings while we figure out how to rebuild.
My mother-in-law is a strong and loving woman who has always taken care of her family and helped others in need. Now, she’s the one who needs our help.
We are raising funds to repair the roof, fix the damage, and replace essential items like food, clothing, and school supplies for my child. Every dollar will go directly toward helping them rebuild their home and regain stability after this devastating storm.
Please consider donating or sharing this campaign to help spread the word. Your support means the world to us and will make a real difference in helping them recover and feel safe again.
Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and prayers. Together, we can help them rebuild.
