Help a Goodwill Team Member Rebuild After a Devastating Home Flood

On October 2nd, tragedy struck one of our own. A severe sewage and plumbing issue flooded her entire apartment — from the kitchen to the balcony — leaving 5 to 6 inches of sewage water throughout her home. Overnight, she lost nearly everything.

All of her family’s clothing, furniture, her children’s beds, air purifier, TV console, toys, and bed frames were destroyed. She and her children were forced to leave immediately, moving into a hotel on October 3rd, with only what they could carry.

As a Goodwill San Antonio employee, she has decided to dedicate her career to helping others overcome challenges and build brighter futures. Now, she needs our help to rebuild hers.

Your donation will go directly toward replacing essential items for her family — beds for the kids, clothing, furniture, and basic household necessities — as well as helping cover the unexpected cost of temporary housing.
