My name is Precious, and I am a registered Adult Nurse and Emergency Nurse. I am fundraising to provide urgent cataract surgeries, post‑operative care, medicines, and free glasses for children and adults in Edo State, Benin City, Nigeria.

This mission is deeply personal to me.

When I was just 15 years old, my father lost his sight. I witnessed how blindness can take away a person’s independence, dignity, and hope. I know the fear, the helplessness, and the pain a family feels when a loved one can no longer see.

Today, many people in Edo State are living in that same darkness.

Some can no longer work or farm.

Some cannot see their children or grandchildren.

Some are turning to unsafe traditional treatments because they have no other options.
