Hello world! Our local Corpus Christi living history non profit group (Seawinds SCA) had its fencing gear stolen last month with my car and we are petitioning for aide in replacing it. The Shire of Seawinds (our group) is a central and unique Corpus Christi phenomenon, with a 40 year tradition of medieval reenactment, education, storytelling, competitions in the arts and sciences, Medieval and Renaissance fighting as a sport. We foster a subtle and creative space for self and group expression and have members of all ages, the way in which you interact is by selecting a moment in history and portraying it through a combination of historical research, costuming, creating, and existing.
