Hello, I'm Sarah.

I am a full-time Uber and Lyft driver and a really great one. Unfortunately, my car was stolen a few days ago and completely vandalized and totaled.

Also stolen from the vehicle were all my chargers, tablets, debit cards, and a few sentimental items. Even though I locked my cards when the vehicle was discovered stolen, the thieves managed to overdraw my earnings cards for Uber and Lyft, completely draining everything I've worked for in the past 9 years (yes, that's how long I've been an Uber driver).

I'm also a suicide prevention specialist, and most of the people I've been able to help have been passengers. I also direct my passengers to community resources and offer complimentary rides to those going through a tough time, providing clothing, meals, and support. I turn back around after a passenger is dropped off to feed the homeless if I see a need to be met. These thieves took all of that from me. The insurance is covering some of the cost, but I need to be able to help the community again.
