Helping Us Recover After Our Mobile Home Fire

On Sunday Nov. 9th 2025, a fire broke out in our mobile home, and although we are incredibly grateful that the fire didn’t destroy our home completely, it did leave behind significant damage. What was supposed to be a normal day quickly turned into one filled with fear, smoke, and uncertainty.

Thanks to the fast response of firefighters, our home was saved — but the damage is still more than we can handle on our own. The fire, smoke, and water caused serious issues that need immediate repairs, including:

• Damaged walls and flooring

• Electrical repairs

• Replacement of household items ruined by smoke and heat

• Cleaning and restoration to make the home safe to live in again

•Expenses for lodging and food.

We are trying to move forward, but the costs of repairs and replacing essentials have become overwhelming. Insurance isn’t covering everything and I have $1k deductible. We just simply cant afford this time of year.

This home means everything to us — it’s where we’ve built our lives, our memories, and our sense of safety. We are asking for help so we can restore it and get back to living without the constant stress of unsafe conditions.
