Help My Mom Rebuild After Tornado

Yesterday, October 9th, 2024, my mom was directly impacted by a tornado outbreak in Wellington, FL. My mom, Jill Sorensen, lives alone and had to go through the devastation by herself.

Unfortunately, the tornado demolished her patio, tore the attic up, pulled the AC box out, shattered multiple windows, threw huge branches into the inside walls of the house, tore bedroom doors off the hinges, and damaged her car. My childhood bedroom is ruined due to the damage.

Unfortunately, I am active duty Air Force and am unable to be there to help physically. My mom is not the only house in the area that has been destroyed, and with that, many people are trying to take advantage of people at their most vulnerable due to the knowledge that insurance will barely cover damages, and what they will cover will not be paid in a timely manner.

I am begging for help repairing what can be repaired so that she can at least have a safe place to live in the interim of moving or rebuilding. Replacing the windows and picking up glass and debris taking up more than half of the house is a tall order for one woman to do alone. If you can even spare a dollar, please help my mom feel safe again.
