Restore Safety for Rosalba's Family
Donation protected
Rosalba Sanchez Diaz is a hard-working, single mother of three beautiful girls in the back barrio of Cabarete, Dominican Republic. Her small and dilapidated home has suffered horrible damage from the recent rains. Currently, there is about 8" of water flooding and damage to furniture, beds, and appliances.
While her home needed a lot of repair prior to the flooding, she has been unable to catch up on what it needs as she supports her children and extended family on her one income she earns as a cleaner and babysitter.
Rosa is a kind-hearted and generous person, responsible and reliable. She does not have a computer, internet, or the understanding of these platforms to post on her behalf, but she did create this video for me to share her story. It is the intention to try to raise some modest funds to assist her and her family to repair her home and restore it to a safe place for her to be with her family.
We are aiming to raise $5,000 USD in order to get her home into a safer situation. Thank you in advance for your care and generosity.
