Restore Rosalie's Ransacked Residence

UPDATE: the cost to remediate damage is well over initial estimate, and Rosalie is struggling to get her insurance company cover any damage! They are treating it like fraud, insisting that her under two pound bottle fed kittens slashed her mattress, ripped her TV from the wall and generally wreaked havoc!

Early in the morning last Saturday, September 3, my friend Rosalie Hathchock's home was ransacked - televisions ripped off the walls, all security nodes stolen inside and out, clothes and other items thrown from the loft into the lower living area and three litter boxes dumped in her bed among other things. In her words, her apartment looks like a bomb went off inside. Luckily, she was not home at the time of the invasion and violation, and when she returned there was so much that had been thrown into her foyer that she could barely open the door.

All of the breakers were turned off in the residence, and in the process the perpetrators managed to damage the electrical system as the upstairs power is still not working. Police were called to the scene, and the security cameras on the property caught someone standing on their car to turn the cameras around so what they were about to do would not be recorded, so there are no leads on suspects.

As many of you know, Rosalie is a tireless volunteer for Fulton County Animal Services, working in the shelter as well as being a full time foster for the most vulnerable "bottle baby" kittens - orphans who cannot survive without around the clock feeding. Being a bottle feeder is emotionally and physically exhausting under the best of circumstances, and the added burden on Rosalie to recover from this horrible vandalism is too much. It is hard to fathom what kind of rotten heart would do this to one of the most giving, loving people to walk this planet. Let's reward Rosalie for all her good deeds and raise some money so she can hire a service to come out and remedial the mess less behind by the horrible people who did this to her.
