As many of you know our downtown grocery outlet was broken into and robbed a few days ago. The perpetrator that broke into the downtown grocery outlet went into the office and could not get into the safe so he stole the security guards equipment. The security guard, Ron, is one of the best I’ve seen, and I worked at Safeway over a decade.

they stole his body armor, with belt and security devices. he told me he feels very unsafe now. He does not have the resources to replace them, so I told him that I would do a GoFundMe page so he can feel safe again. The items cost just under $1000 for everything, with his vest costing $600.
