We’re reaching out to ask for your support in helping a beloved member of our community, Rocco , a lifelong musician and senior citizen who recently lost safe access to his home after devastating hurricane damage led to dangerous mold infestation.

ROCCO is not just any musician — he's a soulful storyteller of the "Oldies" era whose voice has brought joy to countless people over the decades. Now in his later years, he lives humbly with his loyal service dog, Six, who provides him vital daily support and companionship.

ROCCO’s home was damaged by debris and suffered serious water damage. That led to toxic black mold spreading rapidly through the walls, insulation, and HVAC system. For someone elderly with underlying health concerns, it’s a life-threatening environment. On top of that, the conditions are harmful to Six, who has been showing signs of respiratory distress.

Sadly, insurance has denied coverage for the full cost of professional mold remediation and repairs — leaving rocco without a safe space to live.

The total cost for full remediation, replacement of damaged materials, and temporary shelter is estimated at $8,000–$12,000 (depending on contractor bids and cleanup timeline). Every single dollar raised will go directly to:
