Hello, my name is Rachel Carvajal. Most of you know my story. I suffer with Diabetes and Lupus. I'm 3 years sober. I struggled with alcoholism for over 20 years, and now I have dedicated my life to helping others. I work as a drug and alcohol counselor.

Through the years I neglected my Diabetes and I fell into a deep depression and felt completely hopeless. I did not take care of my health, which caused major dental problems. At this point, all of my back teeth are falling apart and I am not able to eat any solid foods. I'm having a really hard time keeping weight on with the struggle of not being able to eat properly. So this is extremely important to me and any funds donated will go directly to helping me replace my teeth. In the meantime i will continue to work hard, trying to help others, hoping that I will be able to save enough money to fix my dental problems so that I don't have any further health issues due to the severe infections I keep getting. unfortunately, due to the rate my teeth are deteriorating this work is urgent. I am unable to afford the dental work that I desperately need. So I am asking for help from family, friends and anyone who is able to help donate to get the proper dental work that I so desperately need so that I can continue on my path of helping others with their sobriety. Thank you to anyone able to take the time to read this and help support me. I will be trying to save my current teeth. I need multiple root canals, a bridge, and possibly an implant on a back molar.
