Restore Ray's Tools and Truck Post-Flood

On August 9th, 2024, the fallout from Hurricane Debby hit Potter and Tioga County. While Galeton was relatively unscathed compared to the neighboring communities, we weren't without damage. The Galeton Borough garage, where our crew works, stores equipment, and parks their vehicles for the work day, was flooded.

Unfortunately for one of our laborers, Ray Legerlotz, the flood destroyed his truck, lawn mower, and power equipment in the bed of his vehicle.

Ray is one of the hardest workers in the town. In addition to working full-time for the borough, he does landscaping and handyman work in the community. Many older adults in the community depend on Ray to help them maintain their property.

As a community member, I am happy to have organized this GoFundMe to help Ray recoup what was lost in the flooding.
