My name is Jemell Moore, and I’m an independent music producer and recording engineer in Los Angeles. I’ve spent years working to build a career in music, producing songs and developing artists. Music isn’t just my passion—it’s the business I’ve been dedicating my life to building. Right now I’m facing a difficult setback. Due to financial hardship and the rising cost of living in Los Angeles, my electricity and gas services were shut off. Without electricity or gas, I haven’t even been able to stay in my own home. I’m doing everything I can to get back on my feet and keep moving forward with my music and my work developing my artist Amaré.

The funds from this fundraiser will go toward restoring my utilities and helping me stabilize my living situation. Having power in my home again will allow me to live there safely and continue working on my music production and recording projects. It will also help me focus on building my studio work and developing my artist Amaré, so I can keep creating and supporting others in the music community.
