Restore Power for Susan: Urgent Help Needed

Can you imagine being in a sinkhole, trying to climb your way out? No matter how much you grab and climb, you keep sliding down deeper into the sinkhole. God has been so good to me over these years and has provided, amen. Many of you know my challenges: health and financial. Healthwise, thank God, I have great doctors who look after me. Financially, I endured almost 3 ½ years with absolutely NO income, fighting to get disability and in the process, used all of my retirements to keep up with my bills but ultimately, I fell behind on my utilities, mainly PGE. I have been in several of their financial help programs and now I’m told there is no more money in these programs for Alameda County!

So as of yesterday, November 18th, my electricity and gas has been shut off. PGE wants the whole amount before they restore my power. I did apply for one of PGE’s programs, but was told they will help with the monthly bill, but right now the only way to get power restored is to pay the entire amount.

I need help – any amount you can offer would be greatly appreciated.
