$7000 URGENTLY NEEDED TO HELP A GREAT PARALYMPIC GOLD MEDALLIST AND WORLD CHAMPION REGAIN HIS INDEPENDENCE
My name is Greg Jones ASM - Paralympic Coach I am also the author of the book "Walk a Crooked Mile".
Brian McNicholl OAM Paralympic Gold Medallist and World Champion has been a great mentor to me and many other parents of people with disabilities.
Brian acquired Polio at a young age, restricting the use and function of his lower limbs and requiring him to mobilise in a wheelchair. Brian overcame his mobility restrictions, and has established himself as one of Australia’s greatest athletes.
Brian lived and maintained an independent lifestyle up until 2006, when he was involved in a workplace accident that has caused a decline in his mobility and independence – which has led to, for the first time in Brian’s life, to become reliant on a Smart Drive to assist Brian’s wheelchair.
UNFORTUNATELY – the Smart Drive Brian had access to was on loan and had to be returned, and he is now required to make a substantial investment in a Smart Drive of his own to maintain the limited mobility and independence he has following his workplace injuries.
The Story
The Smart Drive costs $7,000.
I am starting the fund raiser off with a $500 donation from my company.
Greg Jones ASM Paralympic Coach – 0417 339 386

• Regain mobility, independence & strength as well as Brian’s self-worth and self-esteem;
• To recommence social hand cycling for general fitness and weight management;
• To recommence Brian’s International Paralympic Technical Official duties; and
• All Brian simply wants is to get his life back on track!
