Restore Our Home and Peace After Attack

Wednesday morning at 3am, an intruder broke into our apartment and used our own kitchen knives to attack my housemates and me. Fortunately, no one was physically harmed, but our home and personal items sustained significant damage.

It was absolutely traumatic and we are trying to recover as best we can. Any help with the financial burden will free our minds to recover from the mental trauma.

The intruder cut his hand on the broken window used to enter and left blood throughout the apartment. A biohazard cleanup crew is needed to properly sanitize and restore our living space. Additionally, several personal items were damaged beyond repair, including a computer, sheets, clothes, a comforter, and a mattress. We also need to replace food that was contaminated and cover temporary housing costs while we are unable to stay in our apartment.

We are asking for donations to help cover the costs of:

Professional biohazard cleanup to ensure our apartment is safe to live in.

Replacing damaged personal items including a laptop, bedding, and clothing.

Replacing contaminated food that was affected during the incident.

Covering temporary housing costs while we are unable to stay in our apartment.

Repairing our apartment and restoring it to a livable condition.
