Restore our Bethel Baptist Church Fellowship Hall
Donation protected

Hi, this year, 2023, we are celebrating our 200th anniversary. Part of our celebration will be our Homecoming Service where church family and community come "home" to worship. Afterward, we would like to have our celebration continue in our fellowship hall with a meal.
Over the years, water has seeped into the underground block walls and has created effervescence, rot, mold and mildew. Our fellowship hall has fallen into disrepair, particularly with the underuse during the COVID pandemic.
Not being able to use this area has been disappointing to us as we remember the many church and community activities like Homecomings, Vacation Bible School gatherings, visitation and refreshments after funeral services, baby dedication celebrations, wedding receptions, fundraising events, Easter Sunday breakfasts, Easter festivities for community children, fall festivals, Christmas festivities, Sunday school gatherings, breakfast honoring local law enforcement and firemen and the list goes on and on.
Waterproofing is costly and that's just the beginning. Cabinets will be discarded due to rot and will need replacing and the interior walls will need finishing.
Please donate if you can. Funds will be used for the restoration of our fellowship hall to continue our church and community ministry. Your donations are so appreciated.
