Help Rebuild Salt Creek Restaurant & Bill’s Fish Camp After Hurricane Destruction

On September 26-27, 2024, Hurricane Helene tore through this community, devastating homes and businesses in its path. Sadly, two of our beloved local treasures—Salt Creek Restaurant and Bill’s Fish Camp—were among the hardest hit. Both were almost completely destroyed, leaving behind only memories and debris where there was once the lively heart of our town.

For years, Salt Creek and Bill’s have been more than just places to grab a meal or bait up for the next big catch. They’ve been gathering spots where friends became family, where fishermen shared their stories, and where countless memories were made. Now, our community is facing the loss of these cherished landmarks.

But with your help, we can rebuild.

We’re reaching out to ask for donations to help restore these two iconic businesses. Every dollar raised will go directly toward the costs of rebuilding Salt Creek Restaurant and Bill’s Fish Camp, helping us bring back the places that have meant so much to so many.
