Restore New Moon Marketplace After Hurricane Helene

New Moon Marketplace is a staple in Fairview, NC. Renee and Jimmie Deaton bought the shop in August 2023 and put their hard-earned money, heart & soul into it. Hurricane Helene devastated small businesses across Western North Carolina, including New Moon Marketplace. With over 3ft of water and mud, there is extensive damage.

While the storm may have knocked us down, it hasn’t knocked us out. We believe New Moon Marketplace can be saved. We are ready to put our hearts and souls into rebuilding, but we can’t do it alone. We are humbly asking for your support to help us reopen. Your donations will be used for:

- Flood restoration cleaning ($5-6k)

- Replacing damaged computers and point-of-sale system

- Supplies for building new shelving
