I’m 29 years old, and for the last ten years, my life has been on hold. Due to a decade of dental failure, I am currently fighting multiple active infections that aren't just painful they are dangerous. It is not due to drug use. It was 10 years of depression and neglect. the last year I've turned my life around. im trying to eat better, but it's hard cause my teeth, and i work out almost daily. I've been studying for a year independently and applying to jobs for the last month.

I’ve finally reached a point where I have $18,500 ready to fix this ($15,000 in credit and $3,500 in savings). But I’ve hit a wall. In the U.S. dental system, $18,000 often only buys you Acrylic (plastic) teeth.

Why I am refusing the cheap option,

Acrylic is porous. It’s essentially a medical-grade sponge. For someone my age, putting plastic in my jaw is a ticking time bomb. Within a few years, those teeth will absorb bacteria, begin to smell, and eventually fracture. At 29, I cannot afford to spend every dime I have on a temporary fix that will leave me back in this exact same nightmare by the time I'm 35.

The Goal is Permanent Zirconia

I am fighting for Zirconia. It is non-porous, biocompatible, and most importantly permanent. It doesn't absorb bacteria and it doesn't break under the pressure of a young person's bite.

I am currently working with specialists and seeking a state-funded grant to bridge the gap, but the total cost for a full-mouth permanent reconstruction is roughly $35,000 to $50,000

I’m not looking for a "Hollywood smile." I’m looking for a mouth that doesn't host active infections. I’m looking for the ability to eat, to work, and to live without the constant fear of my health collapsing.

Every dollar raised goes directly toward the Zirconia material upgrade and the specialized surgical fees required to finally put this decade of pain behind me.

I’m not a professional yet, but I’m doing the work to get there. I just wanted to include this to show that I'm doing work and trying. It is incredibly hard to focus on binary math and network logic when you’re managing chronic infections and pain every single day. I’m raising these funds so I can get a permanent solution and finally put 100% of my energy into my career.

If you're a dentist, reading this, and are willing to work at reduced costs, or a hiring manager for a junior analyst I'm open to working for dental benefits also. I just want to smile, honestly. I'll do whatever it takes. I'm currently getting a consultation at next gen dental tomorrow at nine.
