Help Evacuate My Friends to Safety

Dina Azzam and her husband Mohammed, and three children, is currently trapped in fear in Rafah, Gaza. The situation is extremely dire, with the family experiencing daily bombings and food insecurity. This GoFundMe page aims to secure funds for a passage out of Gaza into Egypt, offering them a chance at safety and relief from the ongoing hardships.

Mohammed is a highly dedicated nutritionist and physiotherapist with a deep passion for his work. He is the proud father of three beautiful children aged 6, 4, and 2. Unfortunately, Mohammed and his children have faced displacement, moving from their home in the North to the South. In the process, he lost everything, including the clinic he worked tirelessly to establish.

Despite these immense challenges, Mohammed remains steadfast in his commitment to serving his community. He selflessly volunteers, distributing food baskets to those living in tents, and runs a kitchen where hot meals are provided for displaced individuals.

Mohammed has three children Eyla, Seela, and Kareem. Eyla is 6 years old; she is a very sweet little girl who loves to play and dance. She adores school and has always dreamed of becoming a doctor. Seela is 4, and she loves to draw and play as well. Unfortunately, this war has significantly impacted her. She has become more quiet, often sitting in her mom's lap, scared to venture outside. She even sleeps with her hands covering her ears, fearful of the sounds of bombs. Kareem, my youngest, is also full of energy, but it breaks my heart to see him suffer. He is experiencing malnutrition due to the scarcity of food, and most of the time, he is very sick.

My name is Bryan Lundgren, and I live in the United States. I am family friend of Alaa Ibrahim Hammouda and her brother, Mohammed Hammouda. We have know each other for six years. Mohammed and I worked on a health project in Gaza together. Currently, he is stuck in Gaza and we need your help.

Permits to leave Gaza: 2500 dollars per child (3)
