Megan Ixim, who you may better know as @msgigggles or @thatfatbabe, is a Jersey City-based content creator whose posts focus on body and sex positivity, plus-size fashion, and empowering women. She is a Queer, POC, Fat activist/influencer, creating community for the last 8 years.

Her reels, TikToks, and posts have fostered a powerful and meaningful community on platforms that have consistently tried to shut her down and where users have continually bullied, harassed, and threatened her. Her honesty, vulnerability, activism, Jersey-city recommendations, and accountability callouts have reached people across the globe, making an impact and gaining her almost 100K followers.

Shortly after, Megan's back up was shut down as well. And as a verified user and social media business owner, Megan's accounts are critical for her career and livelihood. With no access to personal accounts, Megan has had to utilize her business account to reach her audiences and ask for help. That's where we come in.

Megan is hiring a lawyer to help fight the injustice that Fat Individuals face on a daily (ok, hourly) basis on Facebook and Instagram. She is fighting for a platform that allows Fat Individuals to exist safely, empowers them, and celebrates them for more than just their body positivity posts.

Let's help Megan pay her legal fees as she fights to create a better social media world for all of us.

And I know what I have written here doesn't even encompass all of the amazing things Megan has done for the communities she is a part of and has influenced.
