My name is Jeffrey D. Lewis II, and I am the owner of Morningside Cafe. We experienced a break-in at our business the morning of August 22. A masked individual entered through our front door and stole our entire cash register along with other items that were stored with the Point of Sale system.

Instead of this person exiting our business altogether, they returned at least three additional times during the ordeal to gain access to other areas of our cafe. This resulted in more items being destroyed, as well as physical damage to our property.

We literally give our all to the business, as well as the community we serve each and every day. There are countless individuals who enjoy the products we provide and the atmosphere we have created in our neighborhood.
