Help restore Sinbad's Voyage

Mokhtar Paki is a Bay Area visual artist, muralist, author, and teacher whose work has long brought beauty, history, and connection to the community. In Berkeley, California, Mokhtar created Sinbad's Voyage, a public mural that honors immigrants and the local community members whose stories shape the neighborhood. Recently, the mural was vandalized with white paint, causing significant damage to a deeply meaningful artwork. This loss has been painful not only for Mokhtar, but also for the many people who have seen themselves reflected in this mural and what it stands for.
