I am setting this up for my grandmother, Michelle Goodman. She recently underwent a life-changing surgery, which included her getting her left lower leg amputated (right above the knee). It had lost all oxygen source, and there was nothing that the doctors could do to fix it. This all happened in May, and the amputation took place on May 28th.

Right before this had taken place, Michelle, who is 71, was volunteering and helping the elderly on a daily basis. She has spent her life being a caregiver, giving back to others. She was very mobile. This has changed her lifestyle not only physically, but mentally.

Medicare has agreed to pay 80% of her prosthetic, which leaves $11,000 left. We are hoping that we can raise this money to be able to give her freedom and mobility again. Anything helps!
