Hi family,
I'm writing here to share a vulnerable experience around some serious dental work that I've been needing to attend to for the last year and a half that is now beginning to really negatively impact my health.
It's common for mother's after pregnancy, birth and extensive breast feeding (I'm going on 3.5 years) to deplete the minerals in their bodies and have some dental repercussions.
About 1.5 years ago I went to a holistic dentist in Cusco to begin some extensive work on some severely cavitied teeth: we started a root canal that was unable to be finished because they did not have the right equipment to reach the tiniest curved root.
At the time he told me there was a bad infection and that after the rest of the root material was cleared that it would be best for me to take a round of antibiotics (which I've never done in my adult life).
Since we left and haven't been back I haven't had the financial means as a single mother to travel to a biological dentist and have the work completed which means my body has been contending with the infection for that long.
I visited a homeopath recently who agreed that perhaps there was some divine intervention if you will that I never finished that particular root canal because of the growing evidence of future problems that can come from root canals.
My current goal is to get to a reputable biological center in LA, Arizona or Mexico to have two extractions (the current unfinished root canal and one I had done previously), a few other cavities filled with non-toxic materials and then the two implants put in.
This includes international travel for Ayla and I. There is also some down time after the initial extractions where I won't be able to work and extra childcare costs.
Currently some of the symptoms are expressing themselves as a compromised immune system (I've been getting sick more then ever before in my adult life), swollen lymph glands, immense fatigue, mild rashes, brain fog and intermittent headaches.
Time is feeling of the essence so thank you so much for your support and love, these times are so intense and challenging for everyone so it's not lost on me the immense gift to have community support directed my way.
In humility and gratitude,
Maria Teresa
