Restore Mamy Julien Family after robbery

Our friend and former co-worker Julien had a terrifying event occur a few days ago. In the middle of the night, several robbers broke into his home at 1 in the morning. All five children, Julien, his wife, and mother were wakened and in the home while this occurred. Julien has two dogs, but they had been poisoned and could not help to protect the family. Apparently, this robbery was well planned. No one was hurt, but everything of value was taken from the home. 

I have been in brief touch with him and he is understandably devastated. He actually is not thinking about the "stuff", but I thought if we could help provide some assistance, it may soften their recovery. The dogs survived, but I am not sure about long term prognosis.
