On behalf of the temple, we've created a gofundme in aid of Buddhapadipa Temple London.

Buddhapadipa Temple was the first Thai Temple established in 1966. Its current location is in Wimbledon, London. A collaboration of 20 artists painted a mural on the four inner walls of the temple floor to the ceiling depicting the entire life of Buddha.

The temple and its mural is now in CRISIS as water was detected penetrating the temple's roof and the complete reconstruction of the roof which was quoted to us by the contractors was 3 million pounds, we have managed to raise 1 million so far but are in desperate need for another 2 million to conserve our beloved temple.

Anyone who has ever seen the beauty of the temple knows of its open welcome to all faiths and people, serving its local community and not just Thai locals! The 20 monks that reside on site are well versed in blessing anyone who requests and most speak English and always look forward to welcoming everyone.
