On July 4th, 2025, a massive storm rolled through San Angelo, Texas. It dropped a large amount of rain on our city, causing city-wide flooding that hadn’t been seen in many, many years here. Unfortunately, my daughter Lashawna Miller and her family were out of town and were unable to even try to stop the flooding that was occurring in their home. When they returned on July 5th, the damage was done. They had a foot of water in some parts of their home, completely ruining all the floors and sheetrock walls, along with furniture and electrical trouble caused by the flooding. Yes, they had insurance, but of course, not flood insurance. There are thousands of dollars worth of damage to the house and their belongings in the house. They are displaced from their home and need help to try and get back to a point where they can stay in their house safely. Please find it in your heart to help my family if you can.
