My name is Heather Cantrell, and I am asking for help for my sister, Kimberly Wheelehan, and her family after a devastating flash flood destroyed their home.
The flooding forced them to evacuate unexpectedly, and the home is now completely unlivable. The flooring throughout the house has been destroyed, and nearly everything inside the home was lost — including the refrigerator, washer, dryer, and all of their furniture.
My sister cares for her son who has a traumatic brain injury, and tragically all of his medical equipment and supplies were destroyed in the flood, including his electric wheelchair. These items are essential for his daily care and mobility.
Kimberly is also raising her 12-year-old granddaughter, and this disaster has left them suddenly trying to rebuild their lives with very little notice or preparation.
This was completely unexpected, and our family was not prepared for the level of loss they are now facing. Any support — whether through donations, sharing this message, or helping replace essential household or medical items — would mean more than words can express.
Thank you for any kindness, prayers, or support you can offer during this incredibly difficult time.
