Restore Kenzie's Lifeline: Van Transmission

Donation protected
Hello! For those that already know Kenzie and her story, we are reaching out for emergency help as the van we rely on to get Kenzie everywhere, but most importantly back and forth to her medical appointments, surgeries, and procedures in Boston, is in dire need of help. The verdict is we have lost the transmission and it needs to be replaced. The rest of the van is reported to be in great shape and it's recommended we repair rather than look at replacement options. Although getting a new wheelchair-accessible van is a difficult and much more expensive option than it was when we got this one!

For those who don't know Kenzie, let me introduce her. Kenzie has an ultra-rare genetic condition involving the VPS13D gene. She is in a wheelchair, has epilepsy, and poor muscle control along with dystonia and so much more. Being so rare, there is no blueprint for this and we don't know what the future holds, so we try to live every day to the fullest. She loves life, baseball, music, Minnie Mouse, and so much more!

The van is our lifeline to this. To get her the best care possible but also allow her to get out and attend events like a Seadogs game, or go to the store while staying in a wheelchair meant to support her specifically. We humbly ask for any help possible and to please share her story!
