Our dear friend Kai recently endured a heartbreaking and traumatic experience. While enjoying one of his favorite pastimes—fishing—Kai was unexpectedly attacked, and all of his fishing gear was stolen. This wasn’t just equipment to him; it was a vital part of his life, his routine, and his connection to God.

Kai is a kind-hearted soul with special needs who is deeply loved by our church community. Anyone who knows him knows how much fishing means to him—it brings him peace, joy, and a powerful spiritual connection. It’s how he feels closest to God.

Unfortunately, alongside the emotional toll, Kai also suffered injuries that now come with unexpected medical bills. We're starting this fundraiser to help cover those medical costs and to replace his stolen fishing gear so he can return to the water where he finds so much healing and comfort.

Kai has always shown incredible faith and resilience. Let’s come together as a community to lift him up in his time of need and remind him that he’s never alone.
