Not long ago, Jesse, Kerstin, and their daughter Ryder had to say goodbye to their beloved black lab. Anyone who has ever had a dog knows they aren’t just pets — they’re family. Losing their dog left a huge hole in their hearts, and they’ve been trying to process the sadness and adjust to life without such an important part of their family.

While they were already navigating that heartbreak, something even more devastating happened. Someone broke into their garage and stole multiple dirt bikes. These weren’t just expensive items sitting in a garage — they were something Jesse worked extremely hard for and something that brought a lot of happiness into their home. Riding dirt bikes isn’t just a hobby for Jesse — it’s something he truly loves and something he’s been excited to share with his daughter as she grows up. Some of their favorite moments together revolve around it. On Sunday mornings, Jesse and Ryder sit together watching dirt bike races. Ryder, who is almost two years old, gets so excited watching them that she sits there saying “braaap” and making dirt bike noises while watching with her dad. It’s the sweetest thing to watch — a little girl bonding with her dad over something he loves so much.

Jesse and Kerstin are some of the most hardworking people I know. They work hard for everything they have and would never normally ask for help. That’s why I wanted to create this fundraiser — to try to help them recover some of what was taken from them and hopefully restore a little bit of the joy that was lost. This isn’t just about dirt bikes. It’s about helping bring back the moments between a father and his daughter, the Sunday mornings watching races together, the little “braaap” noises, and the memories they were building as a family.
