Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted supporters,

We are Larry and Deborah White, reaching out with hope and gratitude for our 41-year-old son, Joseph – or “Joe,” as so many of you know and love him. Joe is a fighter, but he’s faced unimaginable health challenges for most of his life. With your help, we can give him a real shot at healing and the vibrant future he deserves.

Joe inherited a rare degenerative eye disease that has progressively robbed him of his vision, leaving him legally blind. Since age 10, an autoimmune condition has caused complete hair loss, adding to the daily struggles he’s endured. (We all know how cruel kids can be when someone looks different.) These incurable conditions have taken a heavy toll, leading to overwhelming anxiety, depression, and a diagnosis of PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder). His body and spirit have been battered, making even simple tasks feel impossible.

Four years ago, Joe’s challenges intensified after severe side effects from a COVID vaccine left him debilitated with chronic fatigue syndrome, gastric issues, and, in April 2025, a life-threatening pulmonary embolism with severe blood clotting throughout his body. He nearly didn’t make it. These events have deepened his PTSD and depression, leaving him unable to work or live the life he once dreamed of.

We’ve seen countless specialists, but traditional treatments haven’t worked. After extensive research and recommendations from Joe’s specialty doctors, we’ve found hope in a cutting-edge medical treatment available only at a specialized hospital in Mexico. His doctors agree this is Joe’s best chance for true healing. We’re incredibly optimistic that this treatment could restore his health, allowing him to return to the career he worked so hard to build, marry, have children, and pursue the purpose we believe God has for him.

The last few years have drained our finances, with most treatments uninsured and paid out-of-pocket. Asking for help is humbling, but we’re desperate to save Joe’s life and see him thrive again. After contributing all we can, we need just $6,250 to cover the treatment, travel, and follow-up care.
