Our brother Jake is celebrating almost 3 years of being clean and sober, after many years of struggling with addiction. We are incredibly proud of how he has fought for his sobriety and how the Lord has brought him through such a long and difficult journey to be where he is today. It hasn't been easy, but Jake has worked extremely hard every single day to rebuild his life, and he is incredibly grateful for how much the Lord has blessed him. As my sister likes to say, we have watched our brother climb out of the dark pit of addiction and, by the grace of God, move mountains and cross oceans to get to where he is today.

Unfortunately, the years of struggle have taken a serious toll on Jake's teeth. He now needs dental surgeries to remove damaged, infected teeth and begin the process of restoring his smile and rebuilding his confidence. These surgeries are not cosmetic; Jake's teeth cause him incredible pain, and it is not healthy or wise to put off the surgeries. These dental procedures are one of Jake's last hurdles to continue his sobriety journey. The total cost of the procedures is almost $30,000 and insurance will cover only a small portion of this.
