Help Rebuild Lives in Lambs River, Westmoreland After Hurricane Melissa

Hello, my name is Naudia Barclay. I was born and raised in the beautiful community of Lambs River, Westmoreland, Jamaica. I am the founder of The Porter Relief Foundation, created in memory of my late father to bring hope and help to families in need.

Hurricane Melissa has left my hometown devastated. Homes destroyed, families displaced, and heartbreakingly, lives lost. Many are still without food, clean water, or electricity. The roads are blocked with debris, and access to basic supplies and medical care has been nearly impossible.

Through The Porter Relief Foundation, I am raising funds to provide urgent relief and long-term rebuilding support for the people of Jamaica beginning with Lamb's River. The funds will go toward food, clean water, clothing, rebuilding homes, medical outreach and providing medical supplies to the local clinic.

It breaks my heart to hear my three nieces and their children crying, saying they have nothing left. Entire families are struggling to survive in a place that has always been close-knit, vibrant, and full of love. Lambs River is more than a community, it’s a family and today, that family needs us more than ever.

Every dollar raised will be deposited into a dedicated account managed by The Porter Relief Foundation and used solely for this cause. We are in the process of becoming a registered nonprofit organization, and all funds will go directly toward relief and rebuilding efforts in Lambs River, Westmoreland.
