My name is Ramone Samuels, and I’m from the community of Cold Spring in Jamaica. Hurricane Melissa has left our home in ruins. Roofs have been torn off, houses demolished by violent winds, and both our local school and church—places that shaped my childhood—have been completely destroyed. Families are grieving the loss of animals and livestock, and many are struggling to meet basic needs.

I’m raising funds to support the citizens of Cold Spring, especially the children who attended the now-demolished school and the church members who have lost their place of worship. Your donations will go toward repairing the roofs of the school and church, providing food supplies to affected families, and helping children return to school with the books and materials they need.
