Hi, I’m Jazmaine, a proud daughter of Clarkstown, Trelawny, Jamaica.

On October 27, 2025, Hurricane Melissa, a powerful Category 5 storm, tore through our island and left behind unimaginable damage. My hometown, Clarkstown, was hit especially hard. Roofs are gone, homes are flooded, roads are blocked, and families have been displaced. What was once a peaceful and vibrant community filled with laughter, culture, and love is now struggling to stand again.

I created this GoFundMe to help raise relief funds so we can rebuild Clarkstown together — house by house, family by family, with hope leading the way.

Many of our residents have lost everything: their homes, furniture, food supplies, clothing, and even access to clean water and electricity. Some are sleeping in damaged houses, while others are staying with neighbors or in temporary shelters.

How the Funds Will Be Used
Every dollar will go directly toward:
• Roof and Home Repairs: Helping families rebuild damaged homes and secure safe shelter.
• Essential Supplies: Food, water, clothing, flashlights, bedding, and hygiene kits.
• Community Cleanup & Restoration: Removing debris, restoring local roads, and reviving key community spaces.
• Support for Children & Elderly: Providing school supplies, medications, and caregiving essentials.
• Small Local Businesses: Helping farmers, shopkeepers, and vendors recover their livelihoods.

Why This Means So Much:
Clarkstown isn’t just my hometown, it’s where my heart is. It’s where I grew up chasing goats down the lane, climbing trees, and watching the whole village come together for church, football, and cookouts.

Our people are resilient, but this storm has tested us in ways we’ve never faced before.

If you’ve ever visited Jamaica, you know our spirit, which is full of joy, music, and togetherness. Now we need that same spirit of togetherness from you.

How You Can Help
• Donate whatever you can — every bit helps.
• Share this campaign widely — with friends, coworkers, and social media.
• Pray for Jamaica and especially for the people of Clarkstown.

Your kindness can help us rise again.
Together, we can bring light, love, and life back to our community.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
