This morning, when I walked outside to head to work, I discovered my truck missing from the spot I parked it yesterday afternoon. After talking to our apartment complex, filing a police report, and reviewing cameras, it was confirmed. Someone stole my truck.
A truck is just a method of transportation and a materialistic thing, but this truck was everything I wanted and more.
It has safely gotten me to and from work ever since the day I got it, transported me across the country on multiple occasions during my now-husband and I’s long-distance relationship, and pulled my U-Haul trailer all the way from Minnesota down to Texas.
Most importantly, it got my newborn baby home safely from the hospital and has kept us safe every single day since we found out I was pregnant.
It’s just a truck, but it really meant a lot to me. Colt and I are now faced with unexpected challenges financially because of this situation.
Moving into our home together and starting our family has been such a blessing, but it also has not been without its challenges—mostly financial in this part of our lives. Anything is appreciated, and we are ridiculously grateful.
