Urgent: Help TSA Mom Emily & Sweet Ariel Get Back on the Road
Emily and her daughter, Ariel, are the kind of people who always put others first. Today, they are the ones who urgently need our community’s embrace.
Ariel is a joyful young girl navigating the challenges of a dual diagnosis of Down Syndrome and Autism (DS-ASD), along with heart anomalies and sleep apnea. Her mom, Emily, is a dedicated TSA worker at the airport. Because of the ongoing government shutdown, Emily is currently working full-time without a paycheck, leaving the family with no income.
To make matters worse, their only vehicle recently suffered a total engine and transmission failure. It is irreparable. Without a car, Emily cannot get Ariel to school or her many critical medical appointments. They have exhausted their savings on Ubers just to get by, and it is simply not sustainable.
We are raising funds to help Emily purchase a reliable used car so she can restore stability to Ariel’s life. Every dollar counts. If you cannot donate, please hit the share button. Let’s get this hardworking mom and her daughter back on the road!
Emily is a TSA worker currently working without pay due to the federal shutdown. As she struggles to provide for her daughter Ariel—who lives with DS-ASD and complex heart needs—their family car has completely broken down and cannot be fixed.
Without a car, Ariel is missing school and vital doctor’s appointments. With no paycheck coming in, Emily has no way to replace the vehicle.
