Thanks for visiting our page.
My name is Ashley Scott with deep family roots in New River, St. Elizabeth I am raising funds for my relatives in Jamaica, including my cousins, aunts, and uncles whose home, farmland, and surrounding community were severely damaged by Hurricane Melissa.
Our family farm has supported not just our household, but also local workers and nearby families who depend on the crops we grow. With the roof torn off, crops destroyed, and access to basic supplies disrupted, they are now in urgent need of help to rebuild and stay stable in the weeks ahead.
How the Funds Will Be Used:
All money raised will be used for essential recovery costs, including:
- Roof repairs and home reconstruction: zinc roofing sheets, lumber, nails, screws, tools, labor and installation from trusted local technicians
- Restoring the family farm: replanting destroyed crops, replacing damaged equipment and supplies, supporting the farm workers who rely on this land for income
- Emergency living support: groceries, drinking water, and hygiene supplies, fuel and transportation for rebuilding efforts
- Helping others nearby: If funds allow, we will also assist neighboring families who are in similar need.
I will post updates and photos throughout the recovery process so every donor can see exactly how their contribution is making an impact.
Why Your Support Matters:
Your donation, no matter the size, helps us rebuild what nature has taken and restore hope in a moment of deep uncertainty.
Thank you in advance for your love, generosity, and prayers.
