Restore Hope for The Juarez Family

Hello, my name is Judy Dominguez, and I'm a friend and colleague of Gloria Juarez. I'm setting up this GoFundMe to support Gloria and her family as they navigate through this difficult time. If you can, please consider donating or sharing her story. Any contribution will help make a difference.

Below is what Gloria wanted to share in her own words:

We are a family of 5: my husband and three kids. We have 2 small dogs and 2 cats. We had been saving for some time to purchase a home, and our dream came true at the end of September 2024. We had the opportunity to make beautiful memories for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s. Unfortunately, our home was impacted by the Hurst Fires. There’s substantial damage to our living room and kitchen. The sliding doors to our living room that lead out to the backyard were shattered by the fire and currently sit in our living room, where we once shared our family meals. At the moment, we can’t even access our kitchen from all the debris and fire damage. Our furniture was damaged, and the entire home has smoke damage. Our walls are covered with black smoke. We are currently displaced since it is unsafe for our family and pets to return due to the smell of smoke and the fire damage. This has caused us emotional hardship and distress. My family and I are grateful and thankful that we are safe and that our home is still standing. But it’s difficult to see our beautiful home in those conditions. Your contributions will help us through this challenging time and assist us with needs that might not be fully covered by other sources of aid. Thank you for your support during this hard time.
