Restore Hope for the Carvotta Family's Future

I am David Rudd from Tarpon Springs Florida. I was born in St. Petersburg, FL and group up in Countryside. With the exception to my years in the Army I have lived and raised my two boys in Pinellas County. Growing up here and being a longtime member of the Tarpon Springs Yacht Club, my family and I have met friends from all over the country and have seen the kindness of others throughout this great community. Overnight Hurricane Debby has hit someone close to me and don't really know how to help. I decided to try Go Fund Me for the first time and hope this helps my dear friends.
The Carvotta family who are owners of Salty Turtle Tours in Tarpon Springs, FL, woke to a nightmare aftermath following Hurricane Debby. Overnight, their beloved charter boat, essential to their small business, succumbed to the storm's wrath and sank. Despite their efforts, this harsh reality is exacerbated by the fact that insurance often excludes coverage during named storms. Now facing significant financial strain, the Carvotta’s are grappling with the daunting task of rebuilding their business from the ground up while navigating the complexities of the recovery.
As many boaters know, the road to recovery after such devastation can cost thousands of dollars, not to mention the additional expense of replacing their boat to rebuild both their business and family income. The Carvotta family, known for their humility and generosity, have always extended a helping hand to anyone in need. Now, as their friends and community, we have the opportunity to rally together and support Erik, Jewels, Autumn, and Kayleb during these incredibly challenging times. By coming together, we can provide the financial assistance and emotional support they need as they navigate this difficult journey of rebuilding their livelihood and restoring hope for the future.
