Restore Hope for the Beach Dream Cafe Family

Cleveland - Beach Dreams… As this is a very difficult request for us, we are just in such a situation that I never thought could ever happen so putting this out there. Most of you know we recently started on our retirement journey. On August 1 we opened Beach Dream Cafe in N. Redington Beach, FL. We saw this as an amazing opportunity for our family and fulfilled our dreams of owning a piece of paradise to one day leave behind as our family legacy. Last Thursday, our Cafe, son’s home and car were both completely washed away by Hurricane Helene. We have been working day and night along side so many good people that shared the same dream. We have no idea what is to come for us. We are in need of funding and applying w/ FEMA, SBA and whatever else we can find. The problem is there are no guarantees, no timeframes, no real direction right now. It’s completely overwhelming, frustrating and just heartbreaking. 2 months, 2 dreams shattered. This is an ask to anyone out there that wants to help. I cannot guarantee in which direction the go fund me will go. We had just taken out business loans, purchased large equipment, have to pay staff, vendors, loans pmts, and unsure how to afford to rebuild. We had put everything in that we had.
