Hello, this is Sadie Mae, my faithful companion of 8 years. There's little I have done without her. She's been by my side through divorce, heart surgery, cancer, and has never let me down. Always a wagging tail, wiggling body, and wet tongue. Lol
Sadie Mae was hit by a car Monday. Luckily, she wasn't killed, but the injury she does have is a broken right rear leg. Leaving the bottom part (foot) dangling and unusable. Fervently praying she won't lose it. That amputation won't be necessary. But surely we'll adjust if that is the case. Not giving up on her as she hasn't me. Hopping around on 3 legs, as hard as it may be.Her spirit is still strong.
We're going to Thompson Veterinary Services in Barnesville, GA. Every cent will be used to fix my poor baby's injury.
Life without my BFF would certainly be bleak. She's my sole companion. As a disabled senior citizen, Sadie Mae is my life. Sadie Mae makes waking up a joy. Just seeing her excited, happy & hopeful little face brightens my morning. We give one another's life meaning.
Not being able to afford to take her to the vet is unbelievably painful. Watching her laying around when she normally follows me all over the house is sad. And that's the expression on her sweet little face... sadness. And hopefulness that she'll soon be herself again. Expectation radiates from her little brown eyes asking me if today is the day that this pain and discomfort will be over.
Any help for my baby will be a true blessing to us & greatly appreciated.
Please share this page everywhere you can.
Prayers are welcome also!
Thank you for reading my post..
Update 2
I tried to upload the video I got of Sadie Mae but I failed. If someone could help me please? I'm new to all of this. Thanks again ❤️
